Privacy policy
Linen and Vows Pins is a private tool that its owner uses to post pins of their own wedding website templates to their own Pinterest account. It is not offered to anyone else, and nobody else can sign in to it.
What it uses from Pinterest
When the owner connects their Pinterest account, Pinterest gives the tool an access token. With it the tool:
- reads the names of the account's boards, to put each pin on the right board;
- creates a board when a pin needs one the account does not have yet;
- creates pins the owner has approved one by one, at the time the owner chose;
- reads the account's username, to show which account is connected.
What it stores
Only on the owner's own computer: the access and refresh tokens, and the id of each pin it posted, so the owner can open that pin. It does not store board lists, other pins, or any data about other Pinterest users, and it does not read anyone else's content through the API.
What it shares
Nothing. No data from Pinterest is sold, shared with third parties, used for advertising outside Pinterest, or used to train any model.
Deleting the data
The owner can disconnect at any time, which deletes the stored tokens. Access can also be removed in Pinterest's settings under connected apps. Pins posted stay on Pinterest, where they can be deleted like any other pin.
